How does the application process usually work?

Have you found an interesting job posting on the Career Cockpit of Lufthansa Group or on another job portal? If so, don’t hesitate to submit your application (cover letter, CV and references) by clicking on the ‘Apply’ button.

As an initial step, our Talent Acquisition Team assesses all applications received based on the job profile in question. If your profile matches the specified requirements, we will schedule an approximately 60-minute Skype or phone interview to gain a first impression of you and your professional knowledge.

If you make a sufficiently good impression on our hiring manager and continue to be interested in the job posting, we will invite you to an ‘on-site day’ at Customs Broker in Kelsterbach. During this appointment, which will take approximately 4 hours, you will meet your prospective hiring manager, as well as the respective team.

Afterwards, you will receive feedback from your assigned Talent Acquisition Specialist within a few days.

Yes. The Career Cockpit offers you the opportunity to apply for several positions. In order to submit your applications, please click on the ‘Apply’ button next to each job posting that you find interesting. You only have to enter your personal details once.

This is not necessary. We assess your application based on your qualifications; not on whether it has been addressed to the right person.

As soon as we receive your application you will automatically receive a receipt confirmation.

We will process your application as soon as possible and keep you informed on its status.

Please make sure to not exceed the maximum data volume of 10 MB.

Upon agreeing to our Terms & Conditions, your data will be stored within the Lufthansa Careers portal for 6 months.

In our core business of operative logistics management, we train apprentices to become freight forwarding and logistics services agents. Whenever we are seeking new apprentices, we publish the relevant job postings on the Career Cockpit of Lufthansa Group, as well as on other job portals. Our apprenticeship programmes begin each year on August 1. You can find the prerequisites for each apprenticeship programme in the Job Postings section of the CB Customs Broker website.
