Customs Clearance: Export

Export documents must be prepared for goods exported from the customs territory of the European Union. Such consignments are submitted to export procedures whereby each is provided with an electronic Export Accompanying Document (EAD) (export declaration). This procedure is employed for reasons related to customs law and for the statistical monitoring of the movement of goods from the EU to third countries. As part of the export declaration, customs duties or taxes (sales tax, excise tax) may be calculated.

Export documents must be prepared for consignment values of 1000 euros or more or a weight of 1000 kg or more and for goods subject to prohibitions and restrictions. We can assume responsibility for preparing your export declarations and communicating with the customs authorities. Upon request, we can also offer you a one-stop solution that includes pick-up of your shipment, customs clearance of the export declaration, and delivering your freight to the airline
